Customer Value Analysis is a market analysis methodology in which grades are assigned to evaluatea set of criteria and companies. I was the only designer working on the project, so my work included searching for requirements with stakeholders, collecting necessary data and tools, consulting documents and previous versions, as well as creating design deliverables.
The main challenge was due to the fact that it is a very complex tool. Understanding the concept, defining the navigation flow and creating screens required conversations and experiments with high-fidelity prototypes until final delivery was achieved. Furthermore, the users of the tool are specialized analysts already accustomed to the methodology, which increased the level of demand.
The project went through 3 initial stages starting with interviews with stakeholders to collect requirements. Next, navigation and functionalities were mapped to better understand the flow of information and users. The third stage was ideation and prototyping in Figma with some review and decision-making meetings.
After the release of the new version, some improvements continued to be made based on user feedback. Furthermore, new functionality ideas were created providing a richer experience for the user.
